Flavia Yoshimoto


Graduated in Law from PUC/SP, with emphasis on Consumer Law, in 1995 and obtained the title of specialist in Tax Law PUC/COGEAE-SP/2001. 

Course “Business Law & International Business Contracts”, London Guildhall University/2001. In 2005 she completed an Executive MBA, obtaining the title of Specialist in Capital Markets from FIPECAFI/FEA-USP.

She was Chief Advisor to the Office of the 4th Federal Civil Court from 1997 to 1998, and legal advisor to the Federal Public Ministry of São Paulo from 1998 to 1999, mainly in criminal, tax and administrative improbity cases. 

She was a member of the Tax Planning & Control legal department at Banco Chase Manhattan and Banco Itaú, in addition to holding the position of coordinator of contentious, judicial and administrative tax matters at renowned law firms. 

Since 2007 she has worked strongly with taxation and legal compliance matters for companies in the health area, such as Media, Amil, Unimed and Grupo Vita, recovering tax credits, reviewing the tax burden to improve the company's competitiveness. 

Experience in conducting Due Diligence in M&A processes. Broad performance in meeting municipal, state and federal inspections, including procedures for renewing certificates, legalization of establishments, registrations at SISCOMEX and Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN). 

Expert for the calculation of direct and indirect taxes, with excellent knowledge of  accounting to meet the external audit and compliance with international rules.
